This is my go too live Closer. I've seen NIN multiple times have 2 or 3 live versions mp3 but this by far is the best live version. In the 90s when they were touring the Downward Spiral this used to be the bathroom / cig song... If they played this guitar / bass heavy "Only Time" version I would have stayed. Lol

Wow comments section... were we listening to the same song? This is fucking *TERRIBLE* compared to The Fragile and older albums! Y'know, before he adopted this ridiculous finger pointing mantra that is the antithesis of what Nine Inch Nails was 15 years ago? For fuck's sake Trent, there was a time when there was a 95% chance that I had a Nails album, EP, remix, or foreign release in my CD player! Hell, I used to have a COMPLETE Nails release collection (30+ CDs in 2003 as well as major release LP/EP on vinyl and even official cassette tape copies of LP/EPs... yes 3 copies of each) that I painstakingly acquired over a 10 year period. But this... I would happily throw out the window of my car. Ugh.
